True Grit and 3:10 to Yuma- True Grit's fight scenes were the marshals against the outlaws. The characters were two marshals and a daughter of a man recently murdered. They were looking for a murderer so their motivation was based on finding him and bringing him to justice. The situations involved dealt with the daughter riding along side the marshals to avenge her father and make sure he came in and got what he deserved. Along with running into a fellow gang that were only working with the murderer to get a package delivered for payment. In the end, the daughter killed the murderer and lost her arm because of a snake bite. 3:10 to Yuma's fight scenes included the marshals against the outlaws also and running into Native American grounds. The characters were marshals and an outsider looking for money to keep his land and family on their feet. The situations involved dealt with running into the man they had captive's gang. He was a big outlaw and had been caught by the outsider. In the end, the outsider died and the gang's leader killed his group and turned himself in.
They both dealt with marshals and outlaws but True Grit ended with the murderer dead and 3:10 to Yuma ended with the man turning himself in and turning on his gang to protect and respect the wishes of the outsider that had caught him.
