News reading 19- In Louisiana there were winds that hit 75 mph and that has turned the storm that hit them into a tropical storm. It was a category 1 hurricane and is still under watch as Louisiana is in torment. It's said to last a good 2-3 days before it will be off of Louisiana radar. They're expecting a two foot storm surge and are told to be staying in doors no matter what. I've never been in a storm that included a hurricane or a tornado but I have had family that have been involved in horrifying storms before. Reading about what Louisiana is going through just drops my stomach. I know how loved ones that don't live there or close to there must be feeling right now about their families or friends being in between this right now. It's terrifying and you don't know how to feel. I feel for the families that are in the storm right now and for the loved ones of those hoping they all make it out. It may just be a category 1 hurricane with a two feet surge but that's never something ANYONE wants to deal with throughout their lives.
