News reading 4- This reading is about how Iran has decided to break the 2015 nuclear deal. They've announced that by June 27 (10 days away) they'll have enough low-enriched uranium for nuclear reactors. The deal was made between the US, Russia, European Powers, Iran, and China. It was made to stop Iran's path to a nuclear weapon and in-trade, get sanctions relief. Iran has apparently broken from the deal to compel either the US or European Powers to "loosen financial pressure." In my opinion, this mainly started when President Donald Trump had decided to take us out of the deal last year. When that happened, that meant that sanctions were reimposed and we had tried to block the European Powers from dealing with the country. That's now become a different story. Europe has been creating a "barter-trade system," which is where they would do business with Iran disregarding America's sanctions. I personally believe that would be a good idea. If Europe decides to do trade with them, Iran has agreed to follow the 2015 nuclear deal. This also means that Europe would have to give Iran, "access to the global financial system and grow business ties."
